Root Skitter
Kořenový běs IN-GAME NAMEA fast, fragile bark creature that rushes exposed workers. Skitter Nests and Stone Groves send it on temporary, autonomous ground raids.
CAMP ALLIES · CAMP RAIDERWhen to use it
Secure a Skitter Nest to threaten an unguarded economy: its raiders seek nearby visible workers. The skitter in a Stone Grove wave follows ordinary attack-move alongside the Stone Thrower instead of using the nest’s worker-hunting orders.
What to watch for
Only 45 HP and poor damage against armor and structures. Cannot attack aircraft. Each Skitter leaves after 45 seconds; camp allies cannot be controlled, transported, copied or used to capture another camp.
What you need
Capture a Skitter Nest or Stone Grove with ground military units. Camp allies cannot be trained at a factory or unlocked by research. Workers, aircraft and camp allies cannot capture the zone.
How camp support works
- Support window
- 120s
- First wave after capture
- 15s
- Wave interval
- 30s
- Camp recovery
- 60s
Each Skitter Nest sends three Root Skitters per wave, with at most six living allies. Nest raiders seek nearby visible workers. A Stone Grove sends one alongside its Stone Thrower on an ordinary combat route, with a shared limit of four allies.
An enemy needs the full 8s capture to take over and starts a new support window with a fresh first-wave delay. Contested camps and unfinished hostile captures suppress waves while the support timer keeps running. Blocked or excess spawns are skipped, never saved up.
Existing allies keep their original side until killed or their 45s lifetime ends, even after the camp changes hands. They count toward the same camp limit. They cannot capture objectives, enter transports or be copied.
After support expires, the camp becomes neutral and rests for 60s before another full capture. The previous owner must leave the zone after expiry before renewing support; simply standing there does not restart it.
